Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), an association of Government License holder Hajj Agencies. Under the agreement HAAB will now use the online banking facilities of the branches of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. The Hajjis who want to pilgrim the Holy Kaba can also use the special banking services.
The MOU was signed between Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited and HAAB on Tuesday, 10th April 2012 at the Board Room of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. Mr. Ekramul Hoque, Managing Director of Al-Arafah Islami Bank and Alhaj Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of HAAB signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Md. Mofazzel Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Kazi Touhidul Alam, Deputy managing Director, Mr. Md. Mominul Haque Bhuiyan, Executive Vice President, Mr. Md. Abul Hossain, Vice President, Mr. C.G.M. Asaduzzaman, Assistant Vice President of Al-Arafah Islami Bank and Mr. Golam Kibria, Vice Chairman, Mr. Mozammel Hossain Kamal, Finance Secretary, Mr. Bashir Ahmed, EC Member and Mr. Md. Shah Ali, EC Member of the HAAB were present in the program.
With the new understanding HAAB will use the banking facilities of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. The Bank will also provide special services to the Hajjis who want to visit the Holy Kaba with its dedicated service desk named ‘Hajj Service Desk’. |
