To Prevent Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing BAMLCO Conference of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. held

 To prevent Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, a BAMLCO Conference of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. held at Regency Hotel, Dhaka on 18 January 2020. Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) Abu Hena Mohd. Razee Hasan was present as the Chief Guest. Managing Director and CEO Farman R. Chowdhury presided over the conference. Deputy Managing Director and BAMLCO of the Bank Mohammed Zubair Wafa delivered the welcome speech.

Among others Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Md. Fazlul Karim, Shabbir Ahmed, and Md. Shafiqur Rahman and other Senior Executives were present at the conference. Ex-Consultant of IBBL Chowdhury M.A.Q. Sarwar, Deputy General Manager of BFIU Md. Sawkatul Alam, Muhammed Mohsin Hossaini, A.K.M. Ramizul Islam and Deputy Director of BFIU Khandakar Ashif Rabbani spoke at training sessions held throughout the day. BAMLCOs and ZAMLCOs of 182 Branches, Zonal Heads and Head Office Executives & Officials participated in the conference.
