Annual Business Development Conference 2020 of AIBL held

The Annual Business Development Conference 2020 of AIBL (Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited) was held on January 30, 2020 at the Grand Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden. Chairman of the Bank Alhajj Abdus Samad Labu inaugurated the conference as Chief Guest. The meeting was presided by Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury.
The event presented Members of the Board of Directors of the Bank Hafez Alhajj Md. Enayet Ullah, Md. Amir Uddin PPM, Alhajj Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah, Alhajj Md. Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan, Alhajj Md. Anowar Hossain, Badiur Rahman, Alhajj Engr. Kh. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, and Alhajj Ahamedul Haque.
Among others Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fazlul Karim, S. M. Jaffar, Mohammed Zubair Wafa, Shabbir Ahmed, Md. Shafiqur Rahman and other Senior Executives of Head Office and Zonal Offices were present on the meeting. Managers from 182 branches of AIBL participated in the conference.
According to the un-audited accounts, total deposit of the Bank stood at Tk.32,401 Crore at the end of year 2019. At the same period, the Bank invested Tk.29,260 Crore. Import and export of the Bank were Tk.17,161 Crore and Tk.10,897 Crore respectively.
