Al-Arafah Islami Bank avails Title Sopnsorship of Bangabandhu Menís World Cup Qualifier

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) has availed the title sponsorship of the Bangabandhu Men's World Cup Qualifier organized by Bangladesh Hockey Federation. The agreement was signed between Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited and Bangladesh Hockey Federation on Sunday, February 26 at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon. Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Farman R. Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of AIBL signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Chief Executive Officer of Asian Hockey Federation Dato Tayyab Ikram was present in the ceremony.

Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Md. Fazlul Karim, S.M. Jaffar, Senior Executive Vice President Kazi Mahmood Karim, Senior Vice President Jalal Ahmed were also present in the occasion.

Ten team will take part in the ninth round of the tournament which will be held in Dhaka from 4-12 June. Top Six teams India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Bangladesh of Junior Asia Cup 2015 will take part directly in the tournament. Four qualified teams China, Oman, Taiwan, Uzbekistan from Junior AHF Cup held in Oman on December 2019 will also take part in the tournament. Best Four teams of the tournament will qualify for the 16 team FIH Junior World Cup to be will held in India in 2021.
